Craig B. Chandler has operated the entity known as the Progressive Group for Independent Business’s (PGIB) since the 31st of October 2006. Chandler is the sole Director and sole 100% shareholder.

1. In the June/July of 2019 Chandler set up what was designated as the PGIB/TBCH initiative. The objective being to place PGIB/TBCH executive council members in every Ward in Calgary, and for them to win at the 2021 Calgary election.

2. Chandler, has, for the past 2 years, flooded Calgary Wards and homes and Business’s with Pamphlets espousing the goals of Take Back City Hall. Along with a website takebackcityhall.org (still live) Facebook pages and other mediums. Chandler has been receiving donations from every Ward in Calgary since June 2019. The monies being paid into Chandlers PGIB account. With some distributed to his cohorts.

3. To date Chandler has PGIB/TBCH executive council members running in all Calgary Wards except 2, 4, 10, and 14. My investigation further revealed that Chandler had charged PGIB/TBCH executive council members an initial $5,000.00 to pay for the PGIB/TBCH Pamphlets for their Ward, then charged them another $5,000.00 each for the distribution.

4. As stated, all of the monies raised as donations to the PGIB/TBCH project, that Craig Chandler received from each of the wards across Calgary were paid into the account of Chandlers company the Progressive Group of Independent Business (PGIB) controlled by Chandler.

5. My investigation, which included me talking to several of Chandlers PGIB/TBCH executive council members, revealed that Chandler had only given each of them a set amounts of monies (totaling no more than $500) from the donations that Chandler had received.

6. The amounts itemized as donations to their campaigns from PGIB.

7. Chandler also informed them that he was keeping the rest of the donated monies as well as any further donations that were made to the PGIB/TBCH project. As he had to pay for his PGIB office, his expenses and PGIB staff.

8. Neither PGIB or Take Back City Hall is registered as a Third Party Advertiser.

9. Chandler is still receiving and requesting monies from donors across Calgary, using the PGIB/TBCH mediums, takebackcityhall.org website, Facebook pages etc.

Investigations are still ongoing and will be very enlightening.

The difference between allegations and facts are proof. Because a lie will not fit a fact, a lie will only fit another lie made for that purpose, the life of a lie is just a question of time.
